Is This A Pink Lemonade Margarita Or Ranch Water Recipe?!
Listen up! I shared this on my Instagram in a Reels video and a handful of people said it wasn’t necessarily a margarita vs a Ranch Water?! I’m not entirely too sure on what is correct or not but what I do know is this little drink is pretty dang good! If you like lemonade and tequila then this is right up your alley.
Give it a try and let me know what you think!
Cheers Friends!
Start by gathering the best ingredients you can get your hands on. Your favorite tequila, bubbly water, pink lemonade and a few fresh lemons. I also like to rim the glasses with honey and salt. More on that below …
I love a good rim on a cocktail. I always ask for salt and I love when restaurants/bars do a creative rim like sugar crystals, black or pink salt, smoked salt. Anyways, at home I have found that using honey to rim the glass and then dunking it into salt is seriously out of bounds! It gives the overall drink a sweet and salty vibe. I love it! Just pour a bit of honey onto a small plate, and some sea salt in another small plate. First dunk the glass rim into the honey and then into the salt.
Pro tip. Rim the glasses first ;) Ya, I’ve make that mistake before!
Fill the rimmed glasses with ice and add in your tequila.
Add in the pink lemonade. You can also had a squeeze of fresh lemon directly into the glass! Then top it with your favorite bubbly water. I love Topo Chico! Bonus if it is the grapefruit flavored one!
Gently stir and top with a thin lemon slice. Enjoy!
ENJOY!
