Kale Caesar Wraps + Parmesan Crisps
Coming in hot with a the most easiest dinner idea! I’m sure the majority of you do some version of this in your own home. I’m upset I hadn’t started wrapping ;) sooner! One of my favorite things in the world is a savory, crisp Caesar salad. I love the fresh taste of greens layered with creamy, cheesy dressing. Plus in a good Caesar salad there is always some type of crunchy element to be adored. Garlic croutons or crispy Parmesan. It has always been the perfect salad for me and one that I’d always order when dining out.
Well, I haven’t reinvented the wheel here by any means. In fact I’ve made this incredibly easy with store bought Caesar dressing and flour tortillas! The kale, you already know, I grew it in my garden! I added grilled chicken and made my own Parmesan crisps to elevate this wrap to the next level. Simple and delicious is what it is all about! The quickest and easiest weeknight dinner you can literally toss + wrap together for your family in less than 30 minutes.
The money maker here are the Parmesan crisps! They are simple to bake and once you get it down you’ll be baking them for everything. Use grated Parmesan cheese and spoon about two tablespoons or so into small piles on to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Use the back of the spoon to pat down the center. Bake at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes or until golden brown. Let them cool and as they cool they become deliciously crisp!
While the Parmesan crisps are cooling, toss together any leafy green you have together with some grilled chicken, Caesar dressing, and a little salt + pepper.
Spoon your Caesar salad mix into the center of a fresh tortilla, add a couple of Parmesan crisps and wrap it up like a burrito. Slice in half and enjoy!
*Get creative with it too! You can add a whole host of different things in the wrap and it will be amazing. Try a different salad too! Go nuts and let me know what you are wrapping up. Have any ideas you’d like to share? Leave them in the comments below!
